Would you like to know the story of Headlight Glasses?
Alright!
It's been quite a wild ride.
Let's get into it...
31st October 2022 - Halloween
A couple days before, I overheard my Mom say:
“My friend sally bought some driving glasses”
I thought to myself: What are driving glasses?!
After some research…
I had a flashback of when I was driving at night...
Going 60mph and the road curving to the left.
But an oncoming cars headlights glared into my eyes!
My vision was totally white.
I couldn't see where I was going for a couple seconds.
And I started panicking.
Because I couldn’t see the edge of the road!
I remember thinking, “I hope I don’t crash!"
I thought if driving glasses can solve this problem…
Then that’s a great thing!
My #1 skillset is creating FaceBook Ads.
I absolutely love it.
So I typed “driving glasses” on a website tool called ‘AdSpy’…
It searches through all the past FaceBook Ads that have ever run.
It’s a goldmine because it shows you which ads have worked profitably in the past.
But I was shocked when I realized…
All these ads that have worked in the past for other people…
Were terrible!
I knew I could create better ads and a better website.
So I did…
Within a day, I threw up a website and launched.
For context, when validating this idea…
I used a drop-shipping method.
So when someone sees my FaceBook Ad…
And orders from my website…
Then I order the product to be delivered direct to them.
Like a middle man.
It’s a great way to start out just to see if the business idea can work.
Turns out, it did!
25th November 2022 - Black Friday
I made over 50 sales on Black Friday alone!
I couldn’t believe it.
Never had I made so many sales in under a month.
That’s when I knew I was onto something special…
I was off to the races!
However, there were 3 main issues with the glasses themselves…
- The orange lenses didn’t always work on LED headlights
- The orange lenses were too dark (like sunglasses)
- And the glossy black frames scratched easily - making them feel & look cheap
→ Leading to alot of refunds.
So I got to work…
8th January 2024 - Polarized Launch
I ordered custom stock into our shipping warehouse in Arizona, USA.
These UPGRADED Headlight Glasses have…
- Sharper orange lenses, working well on LED headlights
- Polarized orange lenses (brighter)

A matte black frame - giving them a premium look & feel
But there was a problem…
My FaceBook Ads had appeared all over AdSpy tools.
But instead of other people using these as inspiration…
The copycats came in like flies.
People were stealing my exact logo/ads/product name/website...
And selling the drop-shipping product - or worse.
Instead of offering refunds to people if they didn’t work for them…
These copycats wouldn’t refund.
How do I know?
Because on the Headlight Glasses Trustpilot page…
People would leave negative reviews of being scammed - when they didn’t even order from us!
It was disheartening to see these copycats ruining the brand of Headlight Glasses.
But among all the lies, the truth started to emerge…
Around this time, I started sending out regular email newsletters.
I would just ramble about whatever I was feeling on the day.
Turns out, I was having a spiritual awakening and documenting the entire process.
I was receiving such great positive responses from people that I kept writing them.
One reader called Chris even said:
“I save your emails into a folder I have called ‘Headlight Glasses Philosophy’
Head = mind
Light = wisdom
Philosophy = Deeper understanding/consciousness”
I have plans to keep improving Headlight Glasses…
Which will put the copycats in my rear-view mirror!
