Mother Devastated Learning Daughter & 3-year-old Granddaughter were Killed in Car Accident
On February 25th 2023, Susan had a lovely birthday party. Renting a bouncy castle for her 3 year old granddaughter, Sippel.
The next Saturday, on March 4th 2023, Susan heard the most devastating news a mother can hear.
Her 40-year-old daughter Angela was driving with her four grandchildren. 10-year-old Niyah, 7-year-old Joslyn and 5-year-old Jude and 3-year-old Sippel.
Angela was driving along U.S. 301 and Northwest 246 Street. Angela was heading south on U.S. 301 when, oncoming headlight glare blinded Angela. She went off the right side of the roadway and into a ditch. The SUV then went airborne, going through a small field onto Northwest 246th Street, and overturned, coming to a stop against a building along the street, troopers said.
Angela and her 3-year-old daughter died at the scene. The three other children 10-year-old Niyah, 7-year-old Joslyn and 5-year-old Jude were taken to the hospital in serious condition.
Susan, the mother of 40-year-old Angela said she couldnât believe the news when she was told that her daughter and granddaughter, 3-year-old Sippel, were killed.
âIt was unbelievable to me because I had just seen them a week prior and we were here,â Goodrich said. âI had a little birthday party. It was shocking and devastating.â
